Note that for mosquito numbers 0 - 50
mosquitoes = "Low", 51 - 100 = "Medium",
101 - 1,000 = "High", 1,001 - 10,000 = "Very High", >10,000 =
"Extreme".
8/5/2000: Numbers were 'low' this week.
2/5/2000: Numbers are 'high' (224) and well above average, although the majority (155) were Aedes notoscriptus.
17/4/2000: Numbers well above average continue, with a 'high' (120) collection this week. Aedes notoscriptus (90) again is the dominate mosquito.
11/4/2000: Mosquito numbers have risen this week to be 'high' (201), although Aedes notoscriptus (151) now dominates the collection.
3/4/2000: Numbers continue to decline, with 'medium' numbers (68) trapped this week. Aedes notoscriptus (33) was the most commonly collected mosquito.
27/3/2000: Numbers are down on last week but still 'high' (276), with 150 Aedes notoscriptus.
20/3/2000: Mosquito numbers continue to climb, with a 'high' collection (656) including 520 Aedes vigilax.
13/3/2000: 'High' numbers (149) are agin collected, with 107 Aedes notoscriptus.
7/3/2000: 'High' numbers (249) continue, with 147 Aedes vigilax.
28/2/2000: Mosquito numbers were again 'high' this week (227), with 145 Aedes vigilax.
21/2/2000: Mosquito numbers were 'high' this week (111), with 70 Aedes notoscriptus.
15/2/2000: Numbers have declined this week with the cooler weather. 'Medium' numbers were trapped (66), with 38 Aedes notoscriptus.
7/2/2000: Again numbers were much higher, due mainly to the recent high tides, which initiated Aedes vigilax breeding. All up there were 372 mosquitoes collected, with 236 Aedes vigilax.
31/1/2000: Mosquito numbers were high (169), with 107 Aedes vigilax.
24/1/2000: Medium numbers (50) were collected, with 27 Aedes vigilax.
17/1/2000: 'Low' numbers were trapped this week.
4/1/2000: Mosquito numbers were 'medium' (55), with 30 Aedes notoscriptus.
20/12/99: 'Low' numbers were trapped this week.
13/12/99: 'Low' numbers were trapped this week.
7/12/99: Empire Bay had 'medium' numbers (62), with 52 Aedes notoscriptus.
30/11/99: 'Low' mosquito numbers were trapped from Empire Bay.
23/11/99: Empire Bay trapped 'medium' numbers (81), with 37 Aedes vigilax.
16/11/99: 'Medium' numbers (88) were trapped from Empire Bay, with 71 Aedes vigilax.
9/11/1999: Low mosquito numbers were collected from Empire Bay (Site 3).
