13/3/2001: Mosquito numbers were 'low' this week. There was one MVE and one Kunjin seroconversion in the sentinel chicken flocks this week.
9/3/2001: There were four Kunjin seroconversions in the sentinel chicken flock.
28/2/2001: All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.
27/2/2001: Numbers are 'high' (176), with 53 Coquillettidia linealis.
20/2/2001: Numbers have dropped to be 'medium' (61), with 17 Culex quinquefasciatus. There were three Kunjin and one dual MVE/KUN seroconversion in the sentinel chicken flock.
13/2/2001: Numbers are slightly up, with 'high' numbers. A total of 316 mosquitoes were collected and Mansonia uniformis (96) is still dominating the collections. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.
6/2/2001: Mosquito numbers continue to decline, with a 'high' collection of 163. Mansonia uniformis (144) was the dominant species. There was one MVE seroconversion in the sentinel chicken flock.
5/2/2001: One Sindbis isolate was made from Culex annulirostris, collected 21/1/2001.
30/1/2001: Collections were well down this week and 'high' (244 mosquitoes). Culex annulirostris (123) continues to dominate the catch. All chickens indicated tested negative for flaviviruses.
23/1/2001: Numbers are again 'very high' (1075 mosquitoes), with 776 Culex annulirostris. There were two MVE and one Kunjin seroconversion in the sentinel chicken flock.
15/1/2001: The catch bucket blew off during the windy night, hence the 'low' numbers collected. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
7/1/2001: Numbers are not nearly as high as the previous collection but are still 'very high' (1127), with 711 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
2/1/2001: Five Sindbis isolates were made from the previous collection (18/12/2000) and all the viruses were from Culex annulirostris.
18/12/2000: Mosquitoes numbers are increasing, with almost an 'extreme' collection! All up, 9085 mosquitoes were trapped, with 8248 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
11/12/2000: Huge numbers this week, with a 'very high' collection of 5371 mosquitoes. Culex annulirostris (3324) was again the most common species. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
4/12/2000: Big mosquito numbers continue, with a 'very high' (1653) collection this week. Culex annulirostris (687) was the most common species. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
27/11/2000: Trap numnbers are well on the increase, with a 'very high' (1700) collection this week. Culex quinquefasciatus (966) was the main species, although Culex annulirostris (333) is notably increasing. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
20/11/2000: Numbers continue to be high (162) and Coquillettidia linealis (61) was the most common mosquito. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
13/11/2000: Collections were again 'high' (167), with 47 Culex annulirostris. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
7/11/2000: Mosquito numbers were 'high' (197) and dominated by Culex quinquefasciatus (124). All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses.
17/10/2000: All chickens tested negative for flavivirus from the initial bleed at Griffith.
