7/5/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 21/4 bleed.
23/4/2002: Mosquito collections were 'low' this week.
19/4/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 2/4, 7/4 and 14/4 bleeds.
15/4/2002: Mosquito collections were 'low' this week.
9/4/2002: Mosquito numbers continue to be 'high' (135), with 106 Aedes eidsvoldensis.
4/4/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 24/3 bleed.
3/4/2002: Mosquito numbers were again 'high' (181), with 144 Aedes eidsvoldensis.

18/3/2002: Mosquito numbers seemed to be gradually decreasing, with another 'medium' collection of 56, including 48 Culex quinquefasciatus.
11/3/2002: A 'medium' collection of 93 mosquitoes were trapped this week, including 50 Aedes eidsvoldensis.
6/3/2002: Mosquito collections were 'low' this week.
6/3/2002: There was one Ross River virus isolate from the collectionmade onthe 11/2/2002. This was isolated from Aedes eidsvoldensis. All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 17/2 and 24/2 bleeds.
26/2/2002: Numbers continued to drop after the recent highs following the floods and were 'low' in number.
18/2/2002: Numbers have declined this week and are 'medium' (69), with 43 Culex quinquefasciatus.
13/2/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 9/2 bleed.
11/2/2002: Numbers were again 'high' (408) and still dominated by flood water Aedes. A total of 408 mosquitoes were trapped, with 634 Aedes eidsvoldensis.
6/2/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 4/2 bleed.
4/2/2002: This week, mosquito numbers were the highest for the whole season due to flood waters coming down the Paroo River from rains in south-west Queensland, with the collection dominated by floodwater Aedes. Numbers were 'high' (903), with 814 Aedes eidsvoldensis.
1/2/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 28/1 bleed.
25/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 20/1 bleed.
22/1/2002: A 'medium' collection of 53 mosquitoes were trapped, with 40 Culex quinquefasciatus.
16/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 13/1 bleed.
14/1/2002: Mosquito numbers were 'medium' (63), with 57 Culex quinquefasciatus.
9/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 6/1 bleed.
7/1/2002: Mosquito collections were 'low'.
4/1/2002: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 9/12 and 16/12 bleeds.
30/12/2001: Numbers were 'medium' (51), with 35 Culex quinquefasciatus.
18/12/2001: 'High' numbers (201) were again collected, with 142 Culex quinquefasciatus.
10/12/2001: The first mosquito collection of the year trapped 'high' numbers (268), although most (234) were Culex quinquefasciatus.
10/12/2001: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 26/11 bleed.
27/11/2001: All chickens tested negative for flaviviruses from the 19/11 bleed.
17/11/2001: All chickens from the initial bleed were seronegative for flaviviruses.
