2/Jun/2006 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during May, 2006: Rainfall for NSW was very much below average for almost the entire state, although the far south coast had above average rainfall. Maximum temperature were slightly below average and tended to be cooler towards the west of the state. Mimumum temperatures were well below average, even up to 5 degree below in central north.

Maximum temperatures were around average in the north east and progressively cooler towards the south west, with up to 3 degrees below average. Minimum temperatures were well below average, even down to 4 degree below in central NSW.

3/Apr/2006 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during March, 2006: Rainfall for NSW was below average for most of the state east. The farwest had normal precipitation levels. Maximum temperatures were slighty above average across the south of the state. Minimum temperatures were around average, although up to 2 degrees warmer than normal in the far north west.

1/Mar/2006 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during February, 2006: Rainfall for NSW was below average for the south coast and most of the southwest of the state. The northeast corner had normal precipitation levels. Maximum and minimum temperatures were up to 3-4 degrees above average in the northwest of the state but progressively cooler towards the south.

1/Feb/2006 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during January, 2006: Rainfall for NSW was mostly around avererge for the entire state, although the northeast corner had above average precipitation. Maximum temperatures were up to 5 degrees above average in the west of the state but progressively cooler towards the coast. Minimum temperatures were also above average in the north west, up to 5 degrees.

4/Jan/2006 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during December, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was below average for the mid-north coast down to the south coast and for the northwest inland corner. Some regions in the northwest had very much below average rainfall patterns. Maximum temperatures were above average for the entire state and progessively warmer toward the north were temperatures were up to 4 degrees above average. Minimum temperatures were around average for most of the state.

2/Dec/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during November, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was above average for the eastern half of the state and the southwest corner. The northwest had average rainfall. Maximum temperatures were slightly warmer than normal in the northwest and average elsewhere. Minimum temperatures were warmer than normal along the entire coast and along the north.

19/Nov/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during October, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was above average in the southwest of the state and along the northern tablelands, southern and midnorth coast. The northwest corner experienced lower than average precipitation. Maximum temperatures tended to be around a degree below average in the southwest corner, although in the northeast temperatures were up on normal by up to 3 degrees. Minimum temperatures were warmer than normal along the entire coast and along the north.

19/Oct/2005 Maximum tide heights for 2005-2006: note tide heights are influential for the breeding of the saltmarsh mosquito Ochlerotatus vigilax.
12/Oct/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during October, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was above average for most of the state to very much above average for the southern tablelands and slopes. Excluding the mid-north coast, which also had above average precipatation, most of the coast had average rainfall. Maximum temperatures tended to be around a degree below average across the inland, and around normal for the coast. Minimum temperatures were around average for the inland, but warmer than normal along the north of the state.

The inland had mostly average precipitation, with pockets of above averagea rainfall in the south and below average in the west. Maximum temperatures were around average for the most of the state, although the coast was slightly above normal. Minimum temperatures were slightly below average.

9/Aug/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during July, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was below average for northern NSW, while above average across the southwest corner. Maximum temperatures were around average for the most of the state, although the coast was slightly above normal. Minimum temperatures were also around average.

4/Jul/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during June, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was above average to very much above average for most of the state. The northern inland even had pockets of record rainfall. The southcoast was the only region that had average rainfall. Maximum temperatures slightly above average for the most of the state, although the southern tablelands was up to 2-3 degrees above normal. Minimum temperatures were also above average; up to 3-4 degrees in the northern inland areas.

8/June/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during May, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was below average to very much below average across the southwest corner of the state, and average for most of the coast. Maximum temperatures around average for the coast and progessively warmer to the west of the state, where temperatures were up to 3 degrees above average. Conversly, minimum temperatures were below average; up to two degrees across the inland.

3/May/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during April, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was below average to very much below average. Maximum temperatures were well above average and up to 6 degrees higher than normal across the inland; in fact this was the warmest April on record. Minimum temperatures were also above average; up to four degrees across the inland.

4/Apr/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during March, 2005: Rainfall for NSW was below average across the inland and north coast. The central and south coast had average rainfall patterns. Maximum temperatures were around average, although cooler in the south of the state. Minimum temperatures were 1-2 degrees below average across the state.

3/Mar/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during February, 2005: Rainfall was below to very much below average across the north of NSW, and especially dry in the northwest corner. In the south along the Murray, rainall was above average. Maximum temperatures were average in a diagonal line from the southeast corner of NSW to the northwest corner. Above this, temperatures were progessively warmer and up to 2C above average in the northeast. Below the line of average conditions, temperature were progressively cooler and up to 5C below normal. Minimum temperatures were normal in the northeast and up to 2C below normal in the southwest.

3/Feb/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during January, 2005: Rainfall was average for much of the state of NSW, although the central northern inland had conditions that were below average to very much below average. Maximum and minimum  temperatures were around average although were above average in the central inland.

5/Jan/2005 Rainfall Maps & Temperature Maps for Australia during December, 2004: Rainfall was above average along the Great Dividing Range of NSW, although around average for the coast and much of the inland. The northwest corner of the state did have exceptionally dry conditions. Maximum and minimum temperatures hovered around average.
